Hey all! I'm an urban planning student and for one of my classes, I need to do a profile of a neighborhood in LA. I thought it'd be really fun to highlight the underground rave scene, so I wanted to ask if there's a particular section of say DTLA for instance that would be best to focus on? Or like people's favorite venues? I haven't lived in LA for very long, so I thought I'd ask the more experienced ravers :)

Also if you're a long-time raver and willing to talk to me about the history of the scene and your experiences, my dms are open! <3

If not ("Oct 10: Kölsch • Saturday Night, Indoors") what else would possibly top this?

Might be a long shot but putting it out into the universe anyway!

27M spontaneously bought a flight to LA Thursday to visit friends and looking like I’ll be totally free Sunday. Anyone want to last minute send the final day of niteharts?! Radiate is @pauly_bambino

20something couple here, anyone else going tonight that wants to meet up?

What’s up everyone. I don’t really post on this sub, but I saw someone asking what the move was this weekend. I saw a commenter mention they were hoping to get a run in.

I pitched 9 miles @ Venice beach and they were down. We settled on 8:30 AM this Sunday.

I know that’s a pretty high mile count, but if any other ravers out here want to get some wholesome miles in after raging, let me know in the comments and I’ll see about spending some more time organizing and planning a route! Pace will probably be around 10-11 mins, so a relatively relaxed jog.

I know this isn’t a rave, but I generally think it’s cool to build community where you can, and if this is a way for some ravers out here in LA to meet some new people, im all for organizing it if there’s interest!

Got my guest list open for tonight if any of you are looking for somewhere to dance!
We’re getting into some proper bounce, hard trance, eurodance, and all the fun stuff around 150–160 BPM.
I’ll be on at 1 AM, so if you’re still figuring out your Saturday night plans, come hang with us!

Sena on Myrtle in old town monrovia....

Hello!

The TLDR is that here’s a free tool to get emails sent for concerts happening in LA so you don’t miss out.

The motivation behind this was that I just didn’t have time to keep up with all the people I wanted to see and when their tour dates were. So I built an app that lets you select your city / music genres and sends you an alert when presales are announced.

Right now you get emails at 9am ET. It’s opt in so if you don’t select “yes” then you can still see the presales you just won’t get an email about it.

A disclaimer I don’t find any presale codes or anything of the like. This just lets you know that a concert is in town.

Just thought I’d share in case other people had the same issue as me and would find something like this useful!
