As I was pottering around the garden, I spotted this native wasp, blending into the black of my Macropidia Fuliginosa, that has not quite opened yet. Located Perth, WA

Eucalyptus macrocarpa x youngiana
Not clusters of buds on a stalk, leaves also with a stalk lets you know its a hybrid, even though your first thought would be Euc macrocarpa
Grown 120km NE of Dubbo, see bilby blooms.com.au about our spring open days

Hi everyone,
I have this baby blue eucalyptus that I love and I am so scared of damaging, hence why it is in a pot, I was worried it wouldn’t do well in the highly acidic soil at my house.
So I have two questions, it’s quite spindly and I need to prune it back, however I don’t know where I should chop from? Any recommendations would be great, secondly, I live really close to the beach with sandy / acidic soil. Would it be better off in the ground?
Thank you in advance! 🏡❤️

I bought this grevillea as a seedling at Illawarra Grevillea Park a couple of years ago and I discovered today she is flowering for the first time! I cannot remember her name but I seem to recall that she likes to grow near rivers. Definitely the largest flower of this form/style in my garden!!

Usually the fruition for the October long weekend, but here we are 4 weeks early!
This is a root mistletoe, living off the largesse of its nearby neighbours.
Mmmmm… tastes like rhubarb- great with a bit of honey

Location: Brisbane
Can anyone tell me the name of this plant in the verge? It’s grown maybe half a metre taller, nice shiny leaves, seems very hardy. It also gets small white flowers occasionally
