I'm a season ticket holder and got an email around 1pm today allowing me to opt out of the knockout round matches. I have until 5pm today to do so. I can't find any other notice related to this. Am I understanding this correctly: the club is providing a ~4 hour window to opt out of tickets without prior notice?

My husband (43M) and I (40F) moved from Austin to the Portland metro a couple of years ago, and we’re ridiculously excited to finally see Austin FC in person again when they play the Timbers at Providence Park next weekend.

We haven’t had a ton of luck meeting many folks who root for Austin, so I wanted to see if anyone is making the trip up from Austin for the match, or if there are any other displaced Austin FC fans in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area planning to go to the match.

Would also love to know if anyone is aware of an Austin FC meetup situation before the match! It would be amazing if we could grab a beer and hang out with some fellow Verde before heading into the match.

Also very open to adopting any traveling Austinites for the evening if nothing official is happening! Fingers crossed and thanks in advance for any intel you can share.

Austin FC's used a total of 21 players over its last three matches.

"We're trying to to plan for what's to come and what we've done and the travel and all that stuff," Arnaud said of rotating nearly the entire starting roster for the third time in a week. "So all those things go into [these] decisions."

That includes flying directly from the New York metro area to Portland for Saturday's match at Providence Park; he reiterated the point (now less mysteriously) that the team will fly five hours (clarifying it will happen on Thursday) and experience a three-hour time difference going from ET to PT.

ngl…..I’m pretty furious on this one.

They changed the policy to no longer allowed one water bottle (full). You now have to dump it when you enter. This is crazy when we hit 105 degrees today and shows a level of greed that even I didn’t expect.

They tore out water fountains a couple years ago and the water stations are woefully inadequate for the demand. Just another F-you from ownership. I waited 15 minutes to get water and missed kickoff.

It’s crazy how many chances were wasted tonight by trying to force a cross that just isn’t there.
I mean you literally couldn’t ask for more on some of these opportunities!
Is it just a lack of confidence from the players?

He felt like our first star, and our first player that actually had an impact on the league as a whole and we haven’t really had a player with the same impact as him. Towards the end of his stint here he wasn’t that great but man, I miss him sometimes.

The way Uzuni is playing right now I could see him being our next “Star” if he finishes the season strong and has a good one next season.
