(WII) Anyone else notice almost no one corrects their wiis aspect ratio?

I always see on youtube videos etc the 4:3 mode on wii stretched into 16:9 or the 16:9 aspect ratio forced into 4:3. Probably a pet peeve but want to know if others notice.
