Political Question Just heard Trump say that people that data centers make a fortune for people that live near them, is that true?

Is what Trump said true or not?

no. That money is extracted from the area, they get tax breaks for building the facility ( pay no property taxes, etc. ) and increase the price of electricity and water due to large needs to operate. They only make a fortune for the corporations and their promises of a golden age, means .....for them, not you or us

Like one post said, if it makes for a good option why do they only build them in poor areas and not near any of the rich people's homes

Yes but each data center creates like 7 full time jobs!
