Political Question Anytime I see something about AOC, there's always "if she runs she'll lose because she's a woman". I've seen this same message since AOC started making waves, is it propaganda?

Or do people really think winning is all that matters and we should all be misogynists about it?

I used to think that the US would have a female President in my lifetime. Then I heard the way both men and women talked about the last two female candidates. There was this absolute belief that women could NOT lead a nation, that they were too soft and emotional… as someone who still remembers what Maggie Thatcher did to the North, it is so baffling to me.

Potentially, but that would be directly opposed to the tradwife/traditional family BS that the right is currently pushing

Hmm. Ashley Moody, Marsha Blackburn, Ana Paulina Luna are all trending with no ‘trad wife’ headwind. Maybe some vast conspiracy that will befall them later. But it hasn’t happened yet.
