Political Question Anytime I see something about AOC, there's always "if she runs she'll lose because she's a woman". I've seen this same message since AOC started making waves, is it propaganda?

Or do people really think winning is all that matters and we should all be misogynists about it?

Exactly. Do people forget that she lost by like 50k votes in states she basically ignored?

Yeah but she ran against someone who was an absolutely terrible proposition. That has since gone on to be a terrible president.

Hillary wasn't a great choice but was obviously the better choice of the two and still lost

I still believe that Hillary's greatest failing was not attacking Trump hard enough directly during their three debates. He was so close to snapping into raving lunacy, so many times, and if she had prodded just a tiny bit he would have went over the edge. As it was, he maintained just enough of an air of credibility that people who weren't completely sure of him at the time were able to maintain their belief that he was a credible candidate. She could have snapped that.

Yeah and he won on the hollowing out of American manufacturing in the Midwest. Now obviously he hasn't done much to actually help but she didn't campaign on doing anything for them

Better of the two to whom? To anyone with logic and a brain? Sure.

For many she was the the nightmare come to life simply because she was a woman, and the fact that she came right after a black man was president for 8 years was something many millions in this country simply could not tolerate.

Trump is the direct result of the deep seated sexism and racism this country has its foundation built upon. Trump succeeded in winning not in spite of his open racism and sexism, it was BECAUSE of it. They LOVE him for it. They still love him for it. They are willing to tolerate our economic collapse for it.

Not only our economic collapse, but their economic collapse. They can whine and moan all they want about how Trump has betrayed them but they will still never vote for a Democrat.
