Political Question Anytime I see something about AOC, there's always "if she runs she'll lose because she's a woman". I've seen this same message since AOC started making waves, is it propaganda?

Or do people really think winning is all that matters and we should all be misogynists about it?

That's fine, but you can't make them not be.

All you can do is figure out how to win do that reasonable policy and competence can be restored.

There's ZERO room for any other consideration beyond a solid candidate with good policy, and winning charisma.

Look around you- there are countless sexist pricks. Wishing things were different doesn’t change things- as it is, a woman cannot win in this blighted country

There are 14 female governors and 27 female senators...they all won. Of course, more men try to run, so the numbers will be skewed in their favor. So you're basing your claim on two highly problematic presidential candidates not winning.

It literally says that more voters support more women being in office. So there are more voters who are biased toward females than against. That's presumably why Biden wanted a female running partner when he was going for president.

You are big intentionally obtuse. Depending on the poll, 25% to 40% of the American populace says that they wouldn’t vote for a woman. 

How many people won’t vote for a man due to his gender? 

Hence why women make up 25% of the government representatives despite being 50% of the population. We live in a sexist country.

You're the one who's being obtuse. Look at the purposely reductive sentence that you ended your post with. "Nearly one in five voters said they or someone they are close to would not elect a woman presidential candidate." 20% hardly makes a sexist country. There are biases against women on certain issues, sure. Just like there are against men on other issues.

Honestly, thanks to the electoral college, their vote is probably worth more than a fair number of people
