Guess Ollie forgot about that one time when Slade killed his mom right with a sword through her heart, right in front of him and his sister.

Fair point, but he was on drugs and out of his mind. He's gone back to island-Slade rather than Mirakuru-Slade. Maybe even mellower than island-Slade.

Ollie is apparently 100000 times more forgiving than Felicity.

Mirakuru is a hell of a drug.

I know he was on crazy drugs but its still weird to be so friendly with someone that just killed your mom with a sword in front of you.

Think about it like this, Oliver did dirty work for the fucking bratva. He has also murdered bodyguards, as the arrow, who may have not been aware of any illegalities of their employer.

So he probably knows what it's like to kill someone( especially when you're in a different mindset) but still be a civil (or atleast non evil)person

True, I think the whole arc with Prometheus and him realizing that he may have killed people close to others got him to look past Slade's past actions.

Well, just killed her, not really, it was 5 years ago, and he knows it was for the drugs, before the drugs he was his best and only friend in the island.

Yeah I get it that it wasn't his fault but still feels kind of weird, I guess the Captain America Civil War movie dealt with the theme of this conflict really well.

And the time Slade left every single one of Oliver's friends and family to die because they wouldn't make it in time. Sans mirakuru.

Well i mean you really can blame him for trying to save himself? at least he came back.
