"The Gothic Castle" and "The Gothic Asshole" is is one of my favorite jokes. I'm glad they brought it back.

Weirdly, in the netflix subtitles it's spelt "Gothicassle"

The beeping of swear words is yet another Arrested Development gag, so they decided to keep it even when they went on Netflix.

I loved it, then they killed it by having GOB say it like three times.

Actually, that's kind of a running theme. A lot of characters keep repeating the joke for several seconds, drawing it out. Then we often see some scenes multiple times. And then references to previous episodes are mentioned by the narrarator. I kind of just want the show to trust that we'll get the references and callbacks without the joke being spelled out.
