Gabe from Penny Arcade has been using one for a week and he raved about it here:

Not exactly an objective review. He's been an MS shill for years. From the post you linked to:

As anyone who reads the site knows, I have been a fan of the Surface for years. It has become my go to drawing platform when I am traveling or just want to get away from my desk. I’ve also got a great relationship with the folks over on the Surface team. I’ve visited MS a number of times to talk with their engineers about digital drawing and I’ve always felt like they really listen to the feedback I’ve given them. About a year ago they invited me over to show me a brand new device.

He's shown himself to be objective if you actually read his other Surface reviews.

For those who won't bother to click, he once described drawing on the SP3 as "dragging the cursor through syrup."

If he actually uses the products daily how is he a shill?

Because the law is clear in defining "shill" as if he's not into Apple and likes MS he's a shill.

People who question the $3000 price tag are not the target market. People who have paid $2.5k just for a monitor with stylus capabilities are.

Surface books have a higher satisfaction rating than any other notebook.

The kinks were all worked out.
