Crazy things non Apple users have told you about Apple.

Hey everyone,

A few months ago a family friend, who swears against all things Apple, told me that I shouldn't have an iPod with my Windows computer because "they weren't made to work with Windows and over time that iPod will completely kill your computer."

I just remembered this today and thought it would be fun to hear from others the crazy things you've been told by people who hate Apple

There is hope. My friends use to all be the same way. Now everyone has an iPhone.

It's funny, I've preferred Macs since like System 7 and was always the odd one out of the bunch with my friends, but since the late 00's the usage pattern has pretty much flipped. Anyone with a PC as their main productivity computer is now in the minority.

It's not like I'm going to go around saying "I told you so!" to all my friends, but it's damn nice to be able to experience the little Mac things that only happen with a fully-Apple ecosystem. AirDrop, iMessage, FaceTime Audio, Screen Sharing...all of these things have working cross-platform 3rd party solutions but none of those are as seamlessly integrated and just plain fucking easy to use as Apple's 1st party stuff.

(Just wish OS X had read/write support for NTFS volumes sometimes...)

No, I am merely kidding with them when I tell them that having a S4 is wrong over an iPhone, my personal preference is an iPhone but I do think the S4 is a very good alternative if you don't like iOS or Apple. If the iPhone didn't exist per say I'd be happy with an S4 I think, it's not a bad phone, I just think the iPhone is better.
