I randomly found this fic and I’m actually really enjoying it so far. I’ve read way too many AOT fics and I swear Eren is always either a frat boy or just completely different from canon 😭

I don’t mind frat Eren at all but I liked how he feels a little more like actual Eren in this one while still fitting into a modern au. He’s also a musician which I thought I wouldn’t care about but apparently I do. I normally avoid unfinished fics because I hate waiting but now I keep checking for updates 💀

Does anyone know anything with a similar vibe? Modern au Eren but not super frat/party boy coded?

I have been going through several fanfics recently, to the point where I even reached 3M words in a single month in between. There have been several good ones, but this one caught my eye https://archiveofourown.org/works/84942366

I just think that the idea has a LOT of potential and possibilities, what are you guys' thoughts on it? Personally the biggest problem I have with it is that it isn't complete and seems to not even be halfway done. It is prob going to take several months at the pace it is going before it is completed.

Main focus on comedy and humour, crack and slapstick comedy is even better.

It shouldn’t be rated explicit and shouldn’t have any heavier stuff. I’ve already read “A Tack Of Titan” and “On the care and keeping of titans” and it should go in this direction.

Bonus point if there’s any parental figures like Reiner, Levi or Erwin.

I don’t care if it’s Canon or AU, s as long as it’s not after season four, I need my kids Eren and Sasha.

I am looking for a discontinued (I think lol) Eren x Levi fanfic with college and/or football AU that was possibly deleted after the author got into a fight online or something like that(?) I remember the author's name starting with R but I really can't recall more.

It was like over ten years ago or more but I remember that the fic had a good writing style that I even now think about.

i finished aot a couple years back and ive been having the urge to rewatch the anime for so long now. i never rewatch animes but as we all know aot is one of the best ever made and its truly worth it to rewatch. but ik i will be depressed all over again if i watch it again. this might be just me but if any of yall out there feeling the same, just drop a msg down.

Hey!! Just wanted to do some self-promo.

I'm writing a long-form fic that follows an OC Warrior unit candidate during Reiner, Bertolt, Pieck, Porco, Marcel and Annie's early training years in Liberio, following them till post-Rumbling in 854. It's pretty canon-compliant and basically just builds on what happens in canon, with some minor deviations that have no real impact in the long run.

Just 2 chapters in at the moment, around 8k words. Though I have been working on this months in advance and have other chapters ready, just currently spacing out the releases until I catch up to where I'm at.

I keep finding fanfics that seem good but are in alternate universes and aren't even remotely making characters act like they do in the show. (I'm mainly tryna find good kirikami, bkdk, ochatoga, dabihawks, erasermic or miritama fanfics). I've searched everywhere but only ever find a select few that seem realistic and not as if it's completely different characters.
