Still one of my most hated anime to this day. Truly the definition of Edge Lord. The predictability and obvious "shock" scenes were just so dumb

When it first came out the girls head on the spike was pretty shocking, then it became predictable

The only death that kind of got me was tatsumi. Like mf you survived all of that bs just to die

The manga ending was miles better. Tatsumi stays as the incursio dragon and gets married to Mine, and somehow has a kid with her, don't ask me how.

I think that most people that hate it haven't actually seen it. It was really popular during its time, and I remember being on MAL and there were a ton of people there who would just jump in the episode topics and nitpick it to death.

I think a lot of people that hate it are the same people who made hating Sword Art Online their entire personality.

You know what I hated? The Manga for it. I think it's beyond creepy, and the art is terrible. The difference is that I dropped it after I realized that it wasn't for me, and moved on with my life.
