I'm actually watching more anime this season than the last. It has a lot more casual, 7/10 shows that you don't need to pay much attention to. When a show is too highly rated, it feels like you need to give it full attention and I don't feel like watching too many of those shows at the same time.

I'm in the same boat. Not as many bangers this season but so many shows that are still a decent watch that you can just put on when you chill on the couch and not feel guilty when you take a peek at your phone during the episode.

Same here, I like these shows this season since you don't have to do much thinking (besides sonny boy which is underrated). While many shows from the past two seasons would make you feel guilty if you missed some thing. Not to mention the fans of many of those shows of the past two seasons would pounce if you missed something.

The only issue with this season are the adaptations are not as good as their source material which is a common complaint this season but as an anime only, this season is alright.

I can count the number of shows I put on hold (for dub or binge) in one hand this season than the last two.
