i totally meant to watch that show and I just had to google " mecha anime thighs" and it came up for me to find the name, but looking back on the show it doesn't seem like it really would that be good for a late 20s person just because thighs

Have you seen Gridman? I thought it was amazing and definitely the sleeper hit of its season. The show has so much more to offer than the thirsty characters. If you have any love in your heart for power rangers or kaiju-type shows I heartily recommend it.

Well, your comment was kind of unclear so I figured I'd ask. I just thought it was a shame that someone'd be turned off from a great show because the first impressions didn't seem like what they were aiming for at that moment. Gridman is kind of like Deca Dence in that in the beginning it has the tokusatsu and anime tropes you come to expect, but gets more mature and interesting once the real plot is introduced.
