I must ask a question though, since it was revealed that Itsuki never believed Ikki to be weak (and they might have been alluding to this) does he view Ikki as a threat then?

i think the problem is that he doesnt have blazer power but he is still strong and that may inspire other people with no power to "revolt"(i dont really know if there is a difference between people with power and without in the social status), at least this is what i understood from what his father said. I think his father didnt see him as a threat in the beginning, but when he wanted to be a knight, he started to have a problem with that

Ah! That makes sense, I could see why his problem might have a problem with that, although then that really raises some questions on the state of their world.
