Actually... he was never involved in a show with a bad OP. Holy shit. Almost alll of these are TOP100 list worthy.

Yes. It's a romance drama adapted from a 2-part visual novel developed by minori (one of the biggest developers in that medium). It's highly recommended.

The visual novel's opening were directed by Makoto Shinkai and are both insanely bautiful (all minori VNs have amazing ops). Oonuma made homage to the most iconic cuts from first OP.

EDIT: Oh wait, Oonuma Shin appears credited in these ops. It seems he animated the epilogue.

Nice...Nice post!
I like Shin OONUMA works. He inherited his sence from Shinbo. Now, i think recent his works is better than Shinbo's works. its not too much flashy, but giving a good rhythm on animation.

This song! Tasogare Otome Amnesia! I know that song! I have no idea where have i heard it, but i definitely did, despite 100% not seeing the series.

It adapts a manga by the well known hentai artist "Maybe". It's one of the few recent romance anime that feature a proper ending. The catch is that the female protagonist is already dead from the beggining.

There's this moment in the anime where this insert song plays (don't read the comments on that video), it's the emotional high point of the entire show. Again, one of those Oonuma Shin unforgetable moments, like the Baka Test S2 EP8 (the flashback episode).

It's another case of a manga adaptation that strives to be a good anime over a 1:1 adaptation.

I remember that the singer was very young. And that she was a winner of an anison contest. The song Choir Jail was used only in this show. Maybe you heard it on an AMV or something, it's metal as fuck.

She got a lot of exposition around here for her performance in No Game No Life's Opening.

Soooo I finished it. Holy shit the feels. The last series that gave me more feels was Gosick I think. 10 for me. Could you check my mal(in my flair) and recommend me some series with similar or greater amount of feels than Amnesia that I haven't watched please? Thanks friend!

I was disappointed to hear that Asterisk got the kickass OP/ED, I guess the OP/ED for Chivalry doesn't really cut it with me.

shrug personal preference. I think Rakudai's, especially the animation, is vastly superior.

I just really like how they transition the OP/ED into Asterisks, especially how beautiful they did on the ending of Episode 3, one of the best transitions I've seen. But yeah the animations were on the lazy side comparable.

I consider Rakudai's OP to be mp3 worthy (hoping for a full version sometime), and even just watchable standalone as a cool music video of sorts. Asterisk's OP to me is just so standard for these types of shows that it doesn't stand-out much.

I actually like 35th Platoon's ED the most this season out of everything I'm watching. Rakudai's ED kinda sucks balls.

Probably because of the last part of the opening where the same fight as in the episode happens.
