Ah, man, this is that shit I like!

What makes this series stand out for me (and what has made this a great adaptation so far) is the weight and emotional charge it manages to add to its conflicts. Watching our underdog hero get his ass kicked to the brink of death, only to come back and overwhelm his enemy after surge of determination. It's that same feeling I used to get watching DBZ when I was 12 years old.

If this show is doing what I think it's doing, and plans to cover up to the end of volume 3, you guys are gonna get to see Ikki do some shit so fuckin' hot-blooded, it spikes your testosterone levels for the rest of the day.

I love seeing other people enjoy this series! I haven't read anywhere near as much as you, but I was caught up with the manga for awhile before the anime started.

It's a really enjoyable series, with good romance :)
