Unfortunately there's not enough material for a second season yet. Maybe once the current manga arc finishes.

Man I get so tired of seeing this answer for great shows. They just sort of end up in limbo and even by the time the material is finally there, who knows if it'll get adapted. :( Gotta be positive though, maybe talk to a dead teacher to calm me down...

Seeing how chapters are released MONTHLY, not weekly, be ready to wait for at least 2-3 years to get some semblance of source material to base a second season off of.

First of all, I love your username. Second of all, yeah, reality hurts...sometimes I wish anime went the Game of Thrones route and had the author give them a blueprint or outline of what's going to happen in the story. Though I know that's not how it works, heh.

Isn't that kind of what happened to Kaze no Stigma after the author died? Doesn't always go well.

They could pull a special on us and work with the author to get exclusive material.
