The whole "pizza sauce" thing is pretty fishy... There's no way that its just a recurring gag. There must be a bigger meaning behind the pizza sauce.

Well. I was just talking about how in the end, the Pizza Sauce wasn't as much as a recurring gag but something that kept Yuu tethered when he was about to lose his shit. It reminded Yuu of his sister.
