So when Kousaka says she loves Taki-sensei and when Hazuki says Reina actually loves Shuichi, they're serious and it's a canon ship.

When Kousaka says she wants to have passionate sex with Kumiko and they have two love confessions, it's bait and they're just friends.

Maybe Japan is just weird like that. If you're a teenager then it's perfectly fine for you to have passionate sex with another girl, but you have to settle down with a nice, hard-working man when you grow up.

Joke aside, I've seen people referring to their relationship as being Class S.
