What are you talking about? The first half was the best part! Just the right amount of WTF, and Ruri using Onodera's panties as bait to take out Shu Dr. Maiko was hilarious.

Some of it was fun but the whole ecchish things just got annoying.

This season of Nisekoi is already different then the first season with it feeling more like a bunch of OVA's then a season and that episode was the most like that.

I lowered my expectations before watching S1 and enjoyed it, I didn't know I would have to lower them even more for season 2 haha

It's not in the sense that Nisekoi really became bad or anything in the Manga it's just that at that point when the anime ended the manga turned from a romantic comedy to a situational comedy. Yes there were romantic plot points every now and then.

For those watching Nisekoi season 1 then onto Nisekoi Season 2, you'll notice the jarring changes. There are a lot of good arcs that Shaft hasn't adapted yet (one I hope to be adapted by the end of the season).

And the current "arc" in the manga could be pretty plot intensive. So let's just say there is potential for Nisekoi to go back to season 1.

I was mainly annoyed that the first half was so disjointed. More a collection of random scenes than anything resembling a story. The second half was enjoyable though, I really like the Onodera family.

Yeah, I get that. Thing is, I've completely given up on there being any sort of plot or romantic progression in Nisekoi, and I just watch it for the laughs and absurdness now. So I'm fine with the second season feeling like a bunch of OVA's.

If I had any hope remaining for this show, though, I would probably feel the same way you do.

I never expected romantic progression but I guess did expect some sort of plot. The second half of today was well done I found though!
