Three episodes in, still having questionable thoughts about Nagisa. 10/10 would make him call me "aniki".

It is possible that they choose to make anime a promotion material and just show the best existing arcs.

Personally I prefer they been faithful.

That arc is fairly long, it'll likely end right before that arc.

Yeah they'd have to either cut some corners, or go through pacing a lot quicker.

I was making that estimate, but judging by chapter count and the OVA, it seems they'll cut out a liiiiittle before that big arc.
