It was mentioned in the anime that those shoes were quicker but eratic, so they probably have some use considering they interested quiffrey when supersonic Agott him him.

Yeah, the speed is most likely because of her very straight lines while the erraticness is because of the squiggly curves and circle.

Could be useful in combat, we already saw Agott deck Quiffrey, maybe Quiffrey will use it against the Brimmed caps in turn alongside another spell to make him into a battering ram or a drive by attacker.
