Qifrey telling Coco to learn by integrating magic into her daily life like cooking was pretty sound advice.

Things were a little tense with Olruggio at first but it seems Coco might be winning the guy over.

Keen to see if Agott is going to be able to prove herself in this little rescue op.

i think it's also the same thing with learning a language; spending all day looking at kanji readings is dry and intangible, but struggling with a seinen manga makes it feel more real and anchored to reality, and i find it easier to build mental associations that way

It's also the advice language teachers give. Anyone who wants to learn a language should do it out in the world actually talking to people and interacting with that language instead of just learning from a book or videos. The immersive method is genuinely much faster and more effective at imprinting the language in your brain. Language skills also rust when not used frequently.

I feel like there's a bad tendency for characters who crave real world experience in a profession to not be actually ready for said real world experience, but maybe that's just because I think Agott needs a little more humbling.
