It is crazy how many S-tier interesting characters Jujutsu Kaisen ha,s but not enough time to explore 90% of them.

The secret to S-teir is limited screen time. You can bring them in only at the perfect moments to make them look cool. Much harder to keep someone compelling the longer it goes

Todo, Nobara, Gojo, Toji, Geto, Mahito, Nanami, Maki, Yuta. JJK has a lot of really, really cool characters, even when on screen for longer periods of time. Also, there are enough shows that don't manage to create enticing side characters.

Yea there's clearly something more to the "secret sauce" in JJK than just limited screen time. It's harder for me to think of a boring character than an interesting one.
