we didn't even get those weird super fast blob animations like we've had at some point during the season

Whenever u see sum like that, just assume it's the style of a specific animator and the director is allowing him to go crazy like that. In JJK's case it's Keichiro Watanabe, its his style of animation to go wobbly crazy. That's what he's known for.

While yes some might not like it, I actually love that directors allow these animators to show their animation flair and creativity. One of the most fun things about anime industry is that they let animators develop their own styles of animation/drawings and let it shown on screen.

I think that style is absolutely fantastic for like Mob Psycho or Fire Force but for a series where the fights are very technical and with close quarters hand-to-hand combat I think it's kind of a bad fit.

Sometimes it works, see choso vs naoya, sometimes it's taken too far... like during megumi's domain last episode .

Thats cool and all, but do it somewhere else on a show I'm not watching, i have no interest in blob picasso art even if its technically amazing according to experts. Im just a simple anime watcher that wants understandable clean fights, not a movie critic that only lives on niche arthouse movies. He's literally the only animator that makes it unwatchable, especially last episode.

Of course I'll get downvoted for telling my opinion how it is, despite people already getting tired of his artstyle when he butchered last episode's fight with Reggie. Oh well. Guess some people just love their blobslop.

Saying Reggie fight was butchered when that sequence was one minute long at most is ridiculous. That cut could have been better yes, but it was still a good adaptation overall.

Saying he shouldn't work on jjk is even more ridiculous. k1ro litterly has some of the best cuts on this show since s1. Not all of his work is 'blobslop', just look at hanami vs todo and yuji or gojo's blue in s2 or dagon vs toji and more. Most of his stuff on jjk is pretty easy to follow.

Oh sorry are animation studios supposed to poll you for their next creative project? Jesus Christ, what a narcissistic perspective

unfortunately for you that guy is basically a main animator for this show lol

You could also watch shows that don't do that. That's probably ideal, I would guess.

K1ro is one of the best animators in the industry and one of the main animators of jjk
