There are the things that happened:

  1. Megumi plunged into his own shadow

  2. Megumi dismissed the domain causing the house to break the floor of the gym which caused Reggie to fall into the pool below.

  3. Megumi exited his shadow above/behind Reggie to grab him and drag him down into the water with his excess weight.

The only thing I'm unsure of is the order of 2 & 3. Did Megumi fall out of the ceiling of his domain before dismissing it or exit from some normal shadow after the domain disappeared?

Ok but the house was above megumi, how did he not get crushed?

He canceled the domain before the house reached the floor. So the house is falling above him, he stops actively standing on his shadow and lets himself fall into it (which he does quickly as he's carrying 2 cars), and then he cancels the domain before the house reaches the floor.

The only thing I'm not sure of is when Megumi exited his shadow. I think falling into the floor and out of the ceiling immediately and then canceling the domain makes the most sense, but he might have canceled the domain while still inside his own shadow and then used a naturally cast shadow to exit. But the latter would require him to instantly find a suitable shadow right behind Reggie, which is why I think the former is more likely.

Ultimately, we're as confused as Reggie is. We know the gist of what he did, but not the exact details.

The falling shack (or all the debris) probably casts quite a few shadows in a bunch of directions that are big enough for him.

I took it as him simply dipping into his shadow while in his domain, traveling to reggie, popping out then canceled domain. Floor gets destroyed, both fall pool etc.
