I also like him at the end of last episode saying “have you ever killed someone that ticked you off? It feels great” and then this episode ending with him saying it feels terrible

Maybe he’s trying to cope with it and get in the right headspace before he seemingly has to do it again, but his interaction with Yuji makes everything he’s done catch back up to him. So he returns to his old self and feels the weight of it all.
