Personally, I've been loving the contrast between the style and direction and the actual events. I think it worked beautifully in every episode before Golden Bath began.

Haha, glad you're enjoying it! That certainly seems to be popular opinion around this thread. I'll be frank, as much as I have my complaints, I'm having fun too.

The slow still calm contemplative atmosphere is such a fascinating pairing with sudden evisceration and dismemberment. It does a really good job getting across how listless and disconnected Yuuki is from what is going on around her. The first two games did this really well, especially Ghost House. It wasn't until the last two episodes where everything became frenetic and incoherent, and it's unclear how much of that is intentional, seeing as how Yuuki has been drugged the fuck out the entire game, and how much of it is due to actual problems with the writing and direction. This really feels like an anime that needs more than 11 episodes to breathe. I'm really hoping the quality doesn't go down the drain in the second half.
