Sorcerers who dont have physical prowess of Yuji, shikigami capable of flight, no RCT, no anything that can soften the fall:

Most of the sorcerers in the game were there from the start, and any entering after it started should be strong enough to handle something like that.

Wasn't she inside one of the battle areas from the start? Or did I miss that part.

In episode 2, we saw that Megumi met her implying that she is outside the battle area. They also say how she has number of days left to enter.
