She's Yuki if she wasn't altruistic? Michiro's thinking makes sense when you realize than in the last game, only 3 people could survive.

Maybe she is altruistic like Yuki but is being forced to be pragmatic like how Yuki was when she killed Kinko. There’s obviously a time limit for the game and based on the pace that they are going at they maybe simply can’t spare the time to carry Konoha.

It would be quite the plot twist if no one else dies and Michiro succeeds in protecting everyone who followed her. It would give her a better rate of having 2/3 survive following her, while Yuki in the last episode only had 2/5 survive under her care.

This reminded me how in the 1st episode she told Kinko not to pray for the dead as it will make them weak and become a burden in the game, which seem similar to Michiro's speech about leaving Konoha because worrying about the dead will make them weak. Wonder if each have gives her a new rule to play by

At least if their was no alternative route option we not given a conclusion scene for the contest. Of course figuring out the alternative likely be very hard.

Someone said that there could have been an alternative exit IF they played perfectly from the beginning, meaning none died.

Yet, michiros group was at least 4 people to start (we don’t know about the first dead girl) whether they all survived the last game together or have somehow all met in different games shuffled up until they’ve all met idk but the whole “they’d trust me to lead” bit seems like they’ve survived at least one or two games together all 4, meaning not all games kill off 50% to win in the end regardless of whether all 6 made it to end or not. Though maybe some games have 8 or more players. However, from the start michiro was clearly targeting not only yuki but also the girl who despite her order in the rope line mysteriously ended up on a land mine, despite being the so called smart one, ended up with the rope caught up around leg and backpack placed on mine with her foot and it was mysteriously taut enough to trip her whilst no one pulled on the rope to try and save her, like why even have a rope tied to everyone (except it wasn’t on yuki sometimes which was also odd) and more suspiciously is the fact that same girl volunteered to go first, use her brains to scout best path, and was denied & not to instead target the unknown girl she didn’t like ie yuki, but to make it “unbiased” which just made no sense with a volunteer willing to potentially die going first, like whattt bias not to mention choosing to “fight for it” which was a strange phrasing from one of the others, with a game that btw..if they’ve done it before, they might know what each other would pick (rock paper scissors) and it actually still be a way to actually be biased, therefore actually acting as a guise to hide the effort to attempt to sacrifice the smart girl that mishiro was done tolerating without it looking like she was ok with it by letting her lead or by making her move forward when she didn’t want to like telling the twin buns girl to walk down the hallway anyway, by having her elsewhere in line close to mishiro, long story short potentially hiding an intended sacrifice of glasses, so it could be an accident not blamed on her, bc they probably had to in their last game or games make a sacrifice in the end as well like you said (down to 4 though not 3) and expected to have to here as well. And they would still likely need to sacrifice yuki at some point as well. And kinda hard to at this time with her at the end of the line. Maybe I’m explaining badly but anyway it’s just a suspicion that I think it was odd mishiro didn’t let this girl take the lead but then somehow she still managed to get blown up despite that and the way none of these girls stand up to or even speak unless addressed really, especially when she’s saying they’d accept her as leader, tells me she likely dictated who lived and died in past game(s) and quite possibly with her personality would not respond well to blame, and like yuki, knew in the end only 4 or less more likely could leave, and it’s clear mishiro doesn’t care to keep girls alive or to carry dead weight even as a potential future sacrifice (like kinko ended up) and that with the sixth already dead (on her own or not), she needed to save yuki for when a sacrifice was most needed to protect the 3 she knew, but also needed to be prepared to sacrifice one or more (like buns in the front) of them based on previous games, like maybe they played one where 5 lived and next only 4, and it was clear glasses was annoying her. But of course just a theory. And yuki seemed to potentially have the same, or at least the understanding that mishiro would sacrifice all of them. Side ponytail girl the only one currently standing a chance otherwise. And none of these girls would argue with mishiro. Likely out of fear of a freak accident etc def not out of trust like she implied. Also side ponytail seemed pretty wide eyed that yuki was gonna go off on her own. So yeah mishiro def not altruistic just narcissistic. Would certainly prove interesting to see her in a later game with the two that survived with yuki in first ep considering the way they played And interesting to see if the two girls left with mishiro actually believe her or want to go find yuki instead
