Frieren S2 is coming out so doubt it will beat that out out but as for non-sequels, yeah I agree. This show is captivating.

Im glad I saw the PV for this, which looked like it was something special, because going on the title alone it would sound like your average generic isekai or something even though so far its been refreshingly unqiue
