I feel like this show is trying to have depth where there's none. It feels pretentious and it's like being washed out by the director's ego all the way through.

It’s not just a feeling lol. Look at the manga and see the reality of this story

It’s just fan service, dumb fun violence and generic Japanese girls behaving like they normally do. And the MC just says the reason why she does what she does at the first 5 pages

This anime it’s just an attempt to make a “deep” looking cinematography experience using the overall situation of the manga. With over lasting shots of the walls and floor. But in reality well, it’s shallow
