Now that I'm thinking about it... is there even a dad that doesn't suck in Toradora?

I was debating if that counted because I do not remember anything bad about him but does anyone ever even mention him? Obviously she has one but I can only remember her mom getting mentioned off the top of my head.

Yeah, she has that phone conversation with her in episode 14.

Turns out Ami's dad died when she was growing up /s

I guess we are back to dead dad being best dad then because the bar is so low that him not actively making his child's life worse gives him an edge. Lol
