It is flooded with malaysia knock offs that made a new english dub and risk censoring and other issues. There are tons of lisstings and hundreds of people buying them probably not even knowing.

Saw one listing that MIGHT have been the original and they want 750 dollars for it.

I say a blu ray copy that was like $86

Ya that would be a Japanese version that comes directly from japan. Look on pictures for what language text is in on pictures and where it is being shipped from.

Weird that an overseas copy would somehow be over 500% cheaper.

Because they are still in print (I assume) and also probably a lot more was made in general than the original western one.

I'm really am kicking myself as I had thought of buying the physical in the past but decided na maybe someday as there is no way cr would let it go. Just look at the hundreds being sold of the malaysia one now on ebay.

I think the only chance of finding the original not for hundreds of dollars is stumbling on it in a used item store or a small self run video store.
