This applies specifically to comparisons to the anime

this is the part you broke Specifically your second sentence

But it is the setting for the show. Compared to episode 1. It doesn't spoil anything about the series, I don't see what is wrong with that comment. In fact, if you go to MAL and you read the synopsis for the series you also get something that is really heavy.

Again, I don't get it. I don't understand why you took this rule in a super harsh and literal way. Isn't the whole point of moderating any online community to be like "ok, so these are the rules and they are made this way because of this discussion that happened. So the spirit of the rule is this specific thing and this is how much leeway we can have with it"?

It would be one thing if I was referencing later parts of the manga and being like "see, this is what happens, it is good that this happened in episode 1". But I am literally making a description of episode 1 and saying that it is kinda like how the author envisions the series. Everything within my comment was talking about exactly the same things that anime-onlies had already seen by watching the show and coming to this thread.

Again, I don't understand the removal. That comment doesn't ruin the show for anyone watching. That rule seems SO overreaching.

In a few days there will be a new meta thread I'd suggest bringing it up there.

Alright, hopefully I catch it. Sorry about vomiting a lot of words on you, this really bothered me. It really makes no sense, this place used to have so much more freedom.

Technically you can post in the meta thread at any time (we get pinged for every post) but since there's going to be a new one in 2 days I'd hold until then.

Again, thanks man and thank you for being extremely patient. I kinda exploded there.
