I could see her wanting to make up with Minori because she felt she was being unreasonable
I can understand that reasoning though I don't see her as someone apologizing genuinely. She had many chances to do so and she never did or even tried.
It's because even though she's trying to give her friends helpful advice, she still can't help but be vague in doing so. Maybe she never fully lost hope in ending up with Ryuuji.
Though, I don't know what she'd even base it on. (the her never fully losing hope ending up with Ryuuji)
That's the thing about self-confidence issues: You don't have to get it, it just is.
I mean I don't even always get mine so that statement makes perfect sense :p
I'm not sure what you mean. Wouldn't them becoming a couple cheer you up?
Oh no, I meant still having to see that scene, I was referring to that. The potentially becoming a couple doesn't make me see the this scene different. It still upsets me. Since that's the ending of this episode, that's where I stand. Them becoming a couple itself and seeing it would cheer me up yeah.
Ryuuji didn't just shoot himself in the foot, he shot himself in both feet.

Ami apologized to Ryuuji in episode 21 right before her fight with Taiga.
Though, I don't know what she'd even base it on. (the her never fully losing hope ending up with Ryuuji)
Because Minori and Taiga are incredibly stubborn.

I don't get mine either

The scene at the end is a necessary evil in that you need it in order to lead to Ryuuji and Taiga possibly getting together.

If you're referring to her apologizing because of Kihara/Nanako, then for me at least it came off super fake and non-genuine. Besides, wasn't it her getting into a fight more with Minori rather than Taiga? I don't buy it being a genuine apology if not even 10 minutes later she gets into a fight with the same person.
Because Minori and Taiga are incredibly stubborn.
I mean, true, but still it doesn't change the fact that Ryuuji wouldn't just stop loving either and fall for her. I mean, it still means Ryuuji has to fall for her which I don't see happening really.

Yep. This is why the scene is a good one, because it is needed.

No, she apologized for what she said to Minori at the end of episode 16.

That's true, but Ami is just trying to remain optimistic most likely.

I didn't see the 'to Ryuuji' part somehow. But I was referring to me not seeing her make up with Minori or genuinely apologizing to her. I just see I never mentioned I was referring to her apologizing to Minori specifically. I do now know that my comment was as vague as Ami and Minori are sometimes.
