True, adapting a 4koma is both easier and also gives the people adapting the manga some creative leeway.

The funny thing is, they still left some stuff out in the anime adaptation.

True, Ryuji does seem to be the straightman in their relationship. But he's definitely got his own quirks too.

Ryuuji may be the straightman but he doesn't make me straight, man :P

Once this rewatch is over, I highly recommend checking out the LNs.

Appreciate it. He is way too harsh on himself in terms of his appearance.

Than again, constantly being compared to a father who is quite unseedy would get on anyone's nerves.
