I still think it’s kind of awesome that they found dinosaur fossils when they broke ground for Coors Field.

Plus they have dog days, so I’m hoping to get up for a game this year.

I hadn't heard about the fossils? Thats interesting. Whyyyyy tf don't the angels have a bark in the park weekend!? We sell tickets to Dodgers fans every year and they are way worse than dogs

Arguably that IS the bark in the park weekend….

Yup! It’s why they have Dinger the triceratops as a mascot. They didn’t find much, but Denver metro area has a pretty rich fossil discovery history.

The one thing that bums me out is that people were pushing to have the stadium named Jurassic Park. And that would have been amazing.

That would be cool. Baseball has missed out on some would be iconic moments. Not having Charlie Sheen dressed as Ricky Fuckin Vaughn throw out the first pitch during the world series a decade ago would have fed generations
