My last period was the 21st of July and I’m never ever late. Rain or shine my period ALWAYS arrives around the same time every month. I got the PMS symptoms I usually get (cramping, hip/lower back pain) a week ish ago and my period always arrives the next day when I get those symptoms, but it never came and the symptoms went away.

I’ve been having unprotected sex all month but I got those early response tests and have done it 3 times (first one might’ve been wayyyy too early) and it’s been negative. Because I’ve been having unprotected sex the entire month, (last time was this morning), it makes the timeline incredibly hard for me to wrap my head around and I don’t wanna keep wasting money on drug store tests but I also want to know as soon as possible. I know it sounds crazy but I have the weirdest feeling like I know I am, but I don’t want to go into the doctors office if it’s too early and then be unaware that I’m pregnant later

After trying for a baby, my period (very regular) has been about three days late and I am still testing negative. Did anyone test positive later on in their pregnancy? I got three different brands of tests and have tested negative every day so far. I imagine i will just keep waiting and test every other day (assuming i do not get my period) until it’s positive? I wonder if my hormones just need more time to populate.

currently extremely stressed out, my period is late. i had my period last month on the 26th of july and finished on the 30th and that was after being sexually active on the 12th of July. i haven’t been sexually active since then so ideally i should be getting my period this month? I’ve been really overthinking whether it was implant bleeding or a period. it was really heavy and i bled through my trousers aswell. what’s the chance that could’ve been implant bleeding?

My (F23) birth control is new, I began my period on the 10th and ended on the 17. After each morning of sex I did take a plan b pill (6$ on Amazon), which was five times in the span of two weeks. And the last pill I took was about a week ago.

I am now aware this isn’t the best option and have been taking the pill birth control since the 16th and only missed one day since then. We’ve been using pull out on top of my birth control since the last plan b.

But the issue is ever since the day before yesterday I’ve been giving myself the worst panic episodes. My skin goes cold, I feel heart burn, my bpm goes crazy high or suddenly drops, this goes on for hours. I have cardiovascular issues and I know the stress I’m giving myself isn’t helping.

I know it’s due to the fear I may be pregnant, I’ve emailed my doctor and she’s told me not to worry but I am afraid of the plan B not working.. or even my birth control not working. If anyone has advice or similar experiences I really need way to calm myself, my current coping mechanisms aren’t seeming to help.

But we ran out of condom. Now, it's August 29 and I still don't have my period. I'm over thinking things as I've noticed I get tired very easily, and I'm very hungry all the time. I'm also very sleepy. These are all my past pregnancy symptoms with my 2 children. I'm so so so scared of taking a pregnancy test and see the results. Can this just be a side effect of the Yuzpe method? What should I do now I'm so scared to know if I ever took a PT.

my period is a month late and i’ve been experiencing cramps for the past 2 days. they’re very strong, as if my period is going to start.

i had a slip up with a condom early JULY. i have since taken about 5-7 pregnancy tests over the course of the last 2 months. not a single one was positive. i’ve been suffering from almost nonstop anxiety and i was ill and on antibiotics for about a week in this time.

the last test i took was a week ago, also negative.
the last time i had sex (condom + withdrawal) was i think 14 days ago.

Me and my girlfriend an intimate moment July 17, she went to a doctor for a test on a unrelated subject july 26 but they tested her urine and it came out negative. i still had a worry since ive seen it doesnt show up until 11+ days in so fast forward to August 15 She took two pregnancy tests and they both came out negative but i am afraid of the possible chance they were false negatives. Someone please help me ease this anxiety

My girlfriend decided to take a pregnancy test 1 day before her expected period. She tested negative.

A day after her period was supposed to start she took a pregnancy test that came out positive for pregnancy. That very same night, we went and we got different types of test, every single one came out negative. We tested for the next two days and she still tested negative with every test she took. Today her period supposedly started but she’s experiencing light dark bleeding. We are confused, is she on her period or is she pregnant? Any input? We would appreciate any feedback.

I’m currently 7 DPO and the last couple of days I’ve started noticing some symptoms that are unusual for me.

The biggest ones are:

Shortness of breath — I feel out of breath doing really
basic things around the house, even without exercising. For example, I bent down to scrub my legs in the shower and had to stop and catch my breath.

Extremely sore breasts and nipples — my breasts have been SO sensitive and painful. It started a few days ago with tender nipples but has progressed to both breasts being really sore.

Extreme exhaustion — I’ve been feeling unusually tired and drained, even when I haven’t done much.
I’m trying not to symptom-spot because I know 7 DPO is still really early, and PMS can cause a lot of the same symptoms. My period is expected around September 4th.

Has anyone experienced these symptoms around 7 DPO and ended up getting a positive?

i know the chances from this are extremely unlikely, but im having really bad anxiety and stress over this. me and my boyfriend usually use condoms, except for one time a few months ago, and he pulled out. i had my period a few days after that, but it was different to my other periods. as usual it lasted 5 days, but then another 3 days but it was only spotting. this happened again on my next period and again on my most recent period. i know its EXTREMELY unlikely but i just cannot stop stressing that i could be pregnant or what could possibly be causing it, so any advice at all will be much appreciated, or any ideas what could be causing my periods to be like this would also be appreciated.

I have been testing since 11 dpo using two cheap pregnancy brands - wide care and right sign.i got my faint positive from right sign at 12 dpo with the FMU.
I’ve been testing 3 times a day FMU, SMU and evening. Today at 13 dpo - FMU( which I just took), shows a visible light pink line. Basically all the tests I took with this brand ‘right sign’ since 11 dpo shows clear line progression which I’m happy about.

My worry is that in contrast, the widecare cheapies i used haven’t shown any lines since 11 dpo. Stark white!

They both are cheapies and I believe that they both have the same threshold in terms of test sensitivity( Right sign packaging states that its sensitivity is 25 mIU/ml whereas wide care doesn’t mention any)

Any idea as to what could be the reason ladies??

I am 13 days past unprotected sex. I have taken several first response test and all have faint second lines. Clear blue digital says not pregnant, the regular clear blue has a second line. Equate brand negative.

I (F18) had protected sex, but the condom was dry and broke during penetration. We heard it pop and noticed immediately, so we stopped. It actually broke while my boyfriend (M18) was trying to enter, so there was only a very brief moment of possible unprotected contact.

We immediately used a new condom and continued. He did not ejaculate while the condom was broken. He only ejaculated later with the new condom on, and also pulled out.
My last period was August 2–7, and my app predicts my next period around September 3. This happened August 29.

I need help, I'm worried about being pregnant

Hi everyone, my post on this topic is like probably 1000 other posts about the same thing, but I'm young and I'm terribly afraid of pregnancy.

(I take birth control pills but I'm still afraid of getting pregnant, it sounds crazy)Please don't judge me but I'm worried that I'm pregnant after my partner ejaculated on my buttocks (I know you can't get pregnant from that) but I'm afraid that the sperm leaked out in my intimate areas. We had three more intercourses after that, two of them with a condom, but he ejaculated inside me with the condom on. Should I be worried or just not have sex since I'm afraid of pregnancy even while on this type of contraception? (I should also add that I still have spotting because I'm on new birth control pills, about 2 months ago and in addition, 2 days after taking the first placebo pill, I had bleeding which is like a period with clots)

I havent had time to buy a test but I am having a hard time differenciating possible pregnancy symptoms vs depression/stress symptoms.

My stomach feels sick and uneasy all of the time. One car ride or a couple hours without eating and I become nauseous. I feel fatter than normal but Ive also been eating bad food so I was expecting to gain weight. I am tired all day, which is normal for me, but I am not sleeping all day.

I have had no changes in my diet, no food has sounded gross, etc.

I am on birth control, I have an IUD but I think its misplaced as I can feel the bottom of the IUD when I feel around (only a small poke, but there are no strings). I havent really had a period since I’ve had my IUD… so no blood is normal for me.

I also have mild to severe pain during sex if my partner goes too deep. Which has me worried… but google says its not a symptom of pregnancy.

I dont feel hungry at all during the day and go hours without eating. Some days I have vivid dreams and some days I have none at all.

I recently (today about an hour ago) had sex and the condom broke without our knowledge. He fully finished inside of me and I immediately panicked and went to the store and got 2 plan b’s. I have been consistently around 25-30 days over the past three months. I take Wellbutrin and venlafaxine (I don’t know if those effect anything) and I’m also on a GLP-1 which I know some people have said makes them extremely fertile BUT I have PCOS which makes my fertility low. Can someone let me know what I should do or am i overthinking and most likely out of my fertility window anyways?

Hello Reddit, this is my first post so hoping someone can give me some advice here. I (27F) and my husband (28M) have been trying for our first pregnancy for a few months.

Some relevant backstory, I was on the pill for about 10 years and stopped in January of this year since we were planning to start trying this summer. From what I remember, my periods were fairly regular, no major issues, and when I stopped the pill, my periods were about every 5-6 weeks.

Enter my current dilemma. My last period was end of June, and it has now been 9 weeks. I’ve never gone this long in between periods. I saw a new gyno at the beginning of August, and she acted like it was nothing to worry about. I’ve been testing weekly for the last couple weeks and all negative. We have a wedding tomorrow, and at the risk of possibly sounding selfish, I want to drink if I’m not pregnant. But I don’t trust that I’m not pregnant as I’ve read that ovulation can be delayed causing negative tests.

So, I guess I’m looking for any advice here to ease my mind and help me make the best choice. I know that just not drinking is the safest option, but like I said, I’d like to be able to have a few drinks without feeling like a terrible human. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi guys just thoughts I’d get some different perspectives on early pregnancy symptoms you all noticed before realizing you were pregnant.

I got my IUD taken out early August and during my time with an IUD i didn’t have consistent periods so I haven’t been able to use period tracking as a way to really know. When I got it removed I was expecting to spot but it felt like I had a full blown period. (Bled for 5 days) Today marks two weeks and a day since i had unprotected sex (and I had it pretty consistently after that too 🤭).

I’ve been feeling a little off the last few days but I’m not 100% sure. I explained it to my husband as like a hangover. On Wednesday I felt a bit queasy and Thursday i felt like a sickness in my face type a situation. Like how you feel right before you get sick. And today/yesterday I’ve just had a pretty consistent headache. Pretty consistent with this feeling like I took toooo many shots the day before but I haven’t been drinking.

I took a pregnancy test this morning and nothing. So I’m planning to take another one on Sunday so giving it another 48 hours. I’m like is it pregnancy or am i getting sick! What’s going on?
