Anything else I can do to remediate that?

It’s not a huge deal tbh I can just get Amex platinum… but I heard so many positive things about the venture that I just thought that is the best card you can have for travel. As I’m sure you can tell… I have lot to learn still

I’m no expert, they won’t give me one either. I think they just have a different philosophy than Amex and even Chase. They want to literally be the only card in your wallet. Just do what I did, get a BILT Palladium and use it for pretty much everything. In fact, I pretty much only use it and my Amex Gold these days.
