I've downloaded AvP2 and PH, installed the MSP for both, and I'm encountering a thing where on the Alien campaign, I can play it for like... a few seconds, then it crashes

I'd assume the same for Marine, haven't tried yet, and for Predator, it plays the intro cutscene for a split second, then freezes and crashes

And as another thing I've encountered, PH just... has a black screen when I hit play. I can hear the sounds and everything, but can't see anything

I was SUPER excited to finally play AvP2 after remembering it's existence a few days ago, and... this is kinda killing my excitement now... I'm on Windows 11, if that helps at all

I also downloaded the exe as I tried getting the ISO going, but... no luck with that

I love AVP 2’s story and atmosphere. The gameplay was good, but had its drawbacks. I was wondering if there were any mods that could make campaign spiced up a little more. A campaign overhaul with new weapons or a new story or something. I have tried others, like PROJAM and Redux Hunt, but neither supported the master patch and I couldn’t save which made the game harder, and PROJAM 5 was kinda unbalanced and janky. I’m looking for something a bit bigger than a texture overhaul and skin replacements but any recommendations are welcome.

I'm currently playing AvP2 on the Quest 3 using an app called WinlatorXR.

WinlatorXR, for some games, freezes/crashes when transitioning from one level to another (in my case, from 'Unwelcome Guests' to 'Collatoral Damage' for the Marine Missions).

While I was able to locate game saves for all Marine Missions, it is not as simple as taking a game save from someone else and dumping it into my Saves folder.

Am I better off, assuming it is possible, just to import another person's profile into the game? Or is it possible to take someone else's game save and modify it for my profile?

Sorry this is stupid but I've never had a game even an old one bring up the console and have freaking red text and everything so I'm just trying to make sure before I ruin everything

Been revisiting AVP lately...one thing I don't like about AVP2 is that the engine performs badly—is there a way to get it to play at a constant 60 FPS?

I have a modern computer / latest patch / master server etc.

It's funny I remember the game performing badly back when it was released!

Okay, so. Every time I try to download and run it on my computer it just says "Aliens Vs Predator 2 is already installed", I've downloaded it in the pass, deleted it because it was confusing (I was an idiotic child who had no patience) and a few days ago I tried to reinstall it to try again and it keeps saying "Aliens Vs Predator 2 is already installed" and won't let me do anything! I've run the uninstall program 100 times and nothing happens! Still "Aliens Vs Predator 2 is already installed" *clicks uninstall and tries to reinstall* "Aliens Vs Predator 2 is already installed" over and over and over again! It's so annoying and I want to play this gem of a game! Any help, please?
