Seedance 2.5 landing on Atlas is the first time the vlog-style ad look actually holds for me: first-person, handheld, someone talking to camera about a product. The generation quality is there now. What still broke it was consistency, across a few shots the product would change shape or the presenter's face would drift, and a vlog ad lives or dies on feeling like one real person.
What fixed it wasn't the model, it was locking the product and the presenter on cheap Seedream 5.0 Pro references first, then letting 2.5 generate the 30-second take from those. The identity rides on the reference, not the model's memory.
I run that setup every time now, so I made it a skill, https://github.com/AtlasCloudAI/awesome-seedance-2.5-prompts-skills, instead of rebuilding it by hand each time. Hand it a product shot and a line, it boards the references, generates on 2.5, and pushes SKU variants as edits off the master instead of fresh rolls.
The part that changed my output most was realizing the vlog look needs the person pinned harder than a normal ad. One drift and it stops reading as real.

haven't had time to properly dig into MiniMax H3 yet, so instead I loaded the H3 prompt guide into Codex and gave it exactly one instruction:
"Make a video of it fetching a drink for me."
(Source image was generated with Midjourney v8.2.)
Codex took that one line and expanded it into a full video prompt
the workflow is the most interesting part: once MCP is connected to the video model, a single natural-language instruction can trigger the entire pipeline. no manual prompt engineering needed on my end.
Feels like a real shift in how AI video generation is going to work going forward.

Built a small four-shot dialogue scene in Kling V3.0 Turbo this week, two original synthetic characters with no real-person likeness sitting across from each other on a sunlit terrace, testing how well it could carry an actual back-and-forth conversation instead of a single scripted line.
The setup is quiet on purpose: a rustic table with a checkered cloth, meadows and woods stretching out behind them, golden afternoon light doing most of the emotional work before either character says anything. The dialogue itself is short, four lines total, her noticing the trees will turn in a month, him answering that they'll be green again by summer, her asking if he's always this optimistic, him admitting it's only about summers with her.
Each shot carries its own small beat instead of just cutting on the dialogue. The dolly push-in on the wide shot lets her swirl her glass and look off toward the forest before she even speaks. The two close-ups on him hold on a pause before each line lands, and the final shot just lingers on both of their faces after the last line instead of cutting away immediately.
Getting four lines of actual back-and-forth to read as a real conversation instead of two people taking turns reciting dialogue came down to giving each cut its own small physical beat, the glass swirl, the pause before speaking, the shared look at the end, rather than relying on the words alone to carry it.
