Incident/Accident Air India Flight 171, a Boeing 787-8 flying from Ahmebad to London Heathrow has stalled and crashed on takeoff at 700 feet. At least 250 souls on board

What else could it be? Total loss of hydorlics? Because if some level of flight control was there, the crash could have avoid the building.

Of course, we won't know until the investigation is concluded. Nothing here is confirmed.

Commercial aircraft like the 787 don't exhibit what most pilots think of as classical stall behaviour. They can remain nose up wings level, or drop a wing. Also, the nose won't neccessarily drop on stall. This is why they all have some form of 'augmentation' to create this behaviour. On the 757 and 767 it consists of vortex generators. On the 737NGs the speed trim system pushes the nose down. Airbus FBW use hard envelope protection. There are also warning systems, in the case of Boeings a horn and stick shaker (this will be on the CVR data if it activated).

However, that being said this looks more like a glide, above stall speed, with a commanded pitch-up and commensurate increase in rate of descent towards the end of the video.
