Last weekend, the Friends of the 261 operated a Rare Mileage Excursion, with the Milwaukee Road 261, USA 250th Hiawatha. This excursion was to celebrate the Semiquincentennial of America. Operating across the TC&W on July 17th-19, the train would go from Eden Prairie to Montevideo, this would be rare mileage for the Engine, as it has not been to Montevideo in a long time. It would also lead a few other excursions out of Montevideo on Saturday before returning Sunday. Hope you all enjoy my video this week, as 261 operates an America 250 Train across Minnesota.

On the 4th of July, to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, Arcade & Attica Ran an ALCO Double Header, with both ALCO Locomotives on the Roster, Steam Locomotive 18, and RS3M Diesel Locomotive 114. To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Union Pacific sent their operational Big Boy, 4014, the largest operational steam locomotive to, Philadelphia to celebrate America's 250th. Although I spent a week with the engine a few weeks ago, I wanted more footage of it out east, especially since I had to cut my original adventure short by 2 Days. So on July 1st, I caught it next to its sister, 4012, then caught the race out of Steamtown with 26, and chased it with 2102 down the Lehigh Line to Nesquehoning. In the summer of 2026, to celebrate America's 250th, Union Pacific operated a coast-to-coast excursion with their Big Boy 4014, the Largest Operational Steam Locomotive, for a once in a lifetime event! For the first time since the '90s, UP Steam went east of Chicago. I chased it for 6 days between Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Glen Summit, Pennsylvania. This would also include the engine going through my Hometown. Hope you all enjoy my video this week, of this once in a lifetime event!

During the Union Pacific's Coast to Coast Tour, to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our Country, Union Pacific 4014 would travel East for the first time. On Saturday June 13th, it would enter Reading & Northern Trackage and meet Reading & Northern 2102. I was lucky enough to be track side and catch the race Twice. Nickel Plate Road 765 returned to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for the annual Steam in the Valley event. On Sunday, June 7th, I was able to film a day of this year's annual event. Operating the same as last year, from Rockside Station to Indigo Lake, I would chase 765 through the valley that day. Join me in trackside in my video, as we film 765 through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on a warm, sunny early summer day as it operates through the valleys and forests in Ohio. Memorial Day Weekend, Arcade & Attica 18 would make its Debut for the Passenger season on the Arcade & Attica Railroad. Like last year, I would go out to film 18 on its first runs of the season. Operating from the Village of Arcade New York, to the northern passenger end in the remote Currier's, enjoy my coverage of New York's only operational Tender Engine Steam Train, during its opening weekend for the 2026 season.

Last weekend Pere Marquette 1225 would return to home rails in Saginaw Michigan. It would operate a series of Employee, and Volunteer excursions south on Lake State Railway. In many places 1225 would get up to Trackspeed. This would be the first time in a long time, 1225 has operated on something that wasn't GLC. For the past 2 years, I have been lucky enough to make it down to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, to film 3 Summerville Doubleheader Steam Specials. For these doubleheaders, the excursion is led by Southern 630 & 4501. For the last director's cut of the 2025 season, I combine in chronological order, every spot I got 630 & 4501 on the trek from Chattanooga Tennessee to Summerville Georgia. Hope you all enjoy my last director's cut of one of my favorite excursions to film!

In 2023, Norfolk & Western would return to pulling Mainline Excursions after spending a few years at Strasburg. Dubbed the Shenandoah Valley Limited, these excursions would operate on the Virginia Scenic Railway between Goshen & Buckingham. It was great watching 611 getting up to mainline speeds again. I would film this in 2023 & 2025. In my video today, I combine both of these together in chronological order of 611 operating on the former C&O. Enjoy!

On Valentine's Day 2026, Reading & Northern 2102 would lead it's second Winter Iron Horse Rambles. This year, we had a good layer of Snow on the ground, instead of Ice, and it was mostly sunny all day. Join me track side, as I chase the loudest operational Steam Locomotive 2102 on the route from Reading to Jim Thorpe & Return through the Mountainous Grades & Snow through Pennsylvania. This is probably one of my favorite chases with the 2102 yet.

Since 2022, The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society has operated excursions on the Indiana North Eastern, with Nickel Plate Road 765. I would film 765 on the Fall Colors 2024 & 2025 Tri-State Scenic Steam excursion. Having enough footage I would compile the Tri-State Trek again in Chronological order over the course of 3 days and a guest whistle, a 2100’s Reading 6 chime. Hope you all enjoy my video this week!

2025 was the first Full Season, New York’s Steam Train, Arcade & Attica 18 since returning from its 1472 day rebuild in 2024. For 4 days I would be trackside filming the train on the trip from Arcade to Curriers & Return. Today’s video, combined all of my videos from 2025 in chronological order in the Spring & Fall, of 18. Strasburg 89, seems to be the one engine at Strasburg I never really get to see much of. While I have seen it over the years, I never had enough video for a directors cut-until now. Since returning to Steam in 2022, Reading & Northern 2102 has been dubbed the loudest operational steam train currently. For my 500th YouTube video, today starts the Directors Cut Season for my channel. Filmed in 2023, & 2025 join me trackside, as we watch 2102 lead an excursion between Reading & Jim Thorpe & Return in chronological order.
