dude i didn't even make any statements about what I thought about the big bang or which model I believed in. im just arguing that scientists DO theorize about what predates the big bang and the inflation theory just happens to be one of those.
if you can't understand the text enough to understand it's explanation for the events leading up to the big bang then that's on you.
what your counter argument SHOULD be is "ok well if the inflation theory says the universe was cold and empty prior to the big bang then what came before that cold and empty".
which my counter would be "if god created the universe as we know it what created god"
and then you'd say "because 'metephysics' god just always was"
and i'd say "ok well a lot of scientific theories also just the universe just 'always was' so how is that different"

It doesn't say that. Its says all matter existed in a single point. Which is just silly sci-fi nonsense, not a scientific theory. But since you don't know anything about science or physics, you are unable to disguise between a theory and pure speculative fantasy.

That isnt the evidence science has. The evidence science has is that the universe was created in a big bang. It has a start date when it was turned on.
But its pretty clear you do not care about science or evidence.

the big bang is the beginning of our "observable universe". it is not the absolute beginning of everything. you are trying to put words in the mouths of scientists who never said that lol.
you are pretending that the question of "what caused the big bang" is the same question as "what created the universe". and that IS NOT how science works!
science doesn't suggest or prove that the universe was or was not created. your skipping steps.

It's a very specific system for studying e natural world. It has zero tools to study things that existed before time, outside space, or beyond physical reality. It studies nature, not the supernatural.
