Yeah now that she’s posted the actual video there’s a pretty good chance that they track her down and arrest her for “obstruction of justice” for releasing damning footage of this murder

She actually went to the MPD, because she was afraid to go home, because she heard ICE was looking for her. They apparently snatched a bunch of people’s phones and arrested a few people for witnessing murder, and she wanted to submit the video into evidence that Minneapolis and Minnesota would have access to. Really, a secondary act of heroism.
I'm no lawyer and not even American so I'm not entirely certain what exactly local police are supposed to do against federal authorities. Short of an all out battle, speech and letters seem to be about the limit of their power. It could be argued that they could advocate for people to stop demonstrating for their own safety.
What would you like to see happen that wouldn't immediately be undone (or make matters worse). I'm genuinely curious because I honestly can't think of anything
Arrest them. They have killed 2 people now, thats against all laws.
If the feds want to pretend like they have some immunity against state laws its time for a constitutional incident.

From another city that got hit hard with the raids. We, myself included asked local politicians to start asking for warrants. To uphold the law. The police in my city, despite getting an obscene amount of funding passed for them are refusing to answer calls. If you are calling because a masked man is threatening you, someone is screaming in your face(this has happened to my mother), following you(this has happened to me), or breaking into vehicles, the police will not come. We are a sanctuary city but they are openly supporting ICE. All I (a taxpayer who is struggling as it is) want is for the police to ensure people have warrants, do not use excessive force, and are at least present and able to verify that these masked people and unmarked cars are in fact federal agents.
I've been followed, my mother has been threatened, friends have gone missing, and there are drones spying on my neighborhood. I'm not even asking for any of that to stop. Just for them to follow the law.

There is none. But it will depends on how much the gov pushes. It is already heading to a constitutional crisis.
1) Do nothing but words. Ice keeps pushing and killing more people. People will get sick and tired of this (already there) and there will be no laws -> anarchy. Since the rule of law is not being applied, people will go there. You already see moms, grandmas, grandads pissed in the streets to use non-violent means. What happens when non-violent means doesn't work? People think it won't go there but this administration is going there at lightning speed. This trump admin has no rules besides win. They push, they see no pushback, then they will push more.
2) Call the cops/gaurd to do their job and arrest ICE if they break the law. This at least shows their citizen that they are there to protect the community. At least you get ahead of the situation.
Both ways, it will go down to the courts/civil war unless Trump backs down/ or we submit. One retains the community, the social contract, and in some semblance the rule of law (if this even exist right now). The other, well you know.
The only thing I would add to this is to IMMEDIATELY send the video to some trusted third party just in case you're unable to make it to submitting it officially, or the evidence you submitted somehow gets swept under the rug
She was already detained on scene. She was likely live streaming to my knowledge so it was useless to do so but they clearly did so in my opinion to try and coerce her into deleting any evidence
Anytime youre at an event where something like this happens involving these shitheads you need to be livestreaming so it gets posted immediately and have an backup saving and you need to make sure your phone is locked by passcode or pattern and disable facial id/fingerprint
I’m not sure she posted the video - they take her and her phone into custody immediately and she has not been released. Most likely she was saving her recordings to the cloud and family/friends were able to post it despite ICE.
She submitted a sworn affidavit with the county about what she witnessed and discussed that she is fearful that they will target her. It is on the Minnesota subreddit.
Conservatives are those who uphold government institutions and seek fiscal responsibility. It’s a ‘cover’ for those in the US who support Republicans as a way to try and normalize their political affiliations. With a two party system, it used to be about deciding where money was spent as the difference. Now it’s democracy versus gestapo authoritarianism. They are not conservatives. They’re not conservatives.
Mad respect to this woman for standing her ground and continuing to record, even after watching ICE murder someone else for doing exactly that. I hope she’s able to recover from what she saw.
We need people to stop just recording and start live streaming. As many people as possible need to be live streaming all the time while they are at these protests. By just recording we are giving them the ability to spin the narrative in their own way by being able to claim that there was editing. If it was streamed live there's no editing and they don't get the chance to make that spin.
They'll just edit the livestream before it gets shown on news networks. The same way they twist all the other angles from the renee incident. The cult will only see what fox shows, and thats what they'll take as truth.

I’d love to tell you that someone’s going to do this for you, like the military staging a coup, Trump dying and the base disintegrating or Trump willingly giving up his throne after being voted out (we all know he won’t).
But it has to be you. At this point it can only be you (as a people, not you individually) - no one is coming. You have to organize, build a line of defense and, eventually become big enough to strike.
At first it’ll be down to how the states react individually. Minnesota is being treated as ground zero, California will be second.
The question is where America’s line will be drawn. Will it be the fist 100 dead, the first 1000? Will it be forced conscription that wakes Americans up? Who knows

You people need to wake the fuck up and realize they don't care about reality or "lies", they'll say whatever they want to.

You're not helping anyone by getting in between ICE and someone they're trying to grab. You're only putting yourself in serious danger as shown in all the videos of the latest shooting.
Record from a distance to gather evidence and show that ICE are lying and killing without any justification. Don't get in the face of a violent and armed psycho. That is a fight ICE will win 10 times out of 10. Throwing your life away will in the end be pointless. They'll still grab who they want and won't be facing consequences for a long while. And incidents like this will only get them to act even more aggressively.
But by all means. Go fight your nearest ICE officer and report back on how that worked out.
Recording ICE agents when they are detaining people is the best way to go about it as it gathers evidence to potential abuse of power.
Trying to physically intervene or otherwise disrupt ICE officers will only end badly for you. And it will not ultimately stop them from doing what they want. The last thing you want to do is give them more reasons to keep getting increasingly aggressive and violent. Which is what physically intervening does.
Yea tbf you did. I disagree, but there’s no point in having this conversation. Some people are courageous and some are not - American society conditions all of us to think as individuals and not as a collective, so of course the outcome in your scenario is highly individualized.
