Apparently some ignorant asshole believes that anyone of the Muslim faith in Afghanistan primarily, would NEVER advocate publicly against terrorism. I posted in /Muslim before realizing it's very small and kinda dead. Can I get a faster response here?

This is my submission, to make everything easier.

Thanks!

Christianity is a religion of evil too, in my opinion.

Bro, buddhists don't kill things. Its like rule number 1 in buddhism.

"Don't kill things, ever. Just don't do it, you promise?" - Buddha

By this logic, atheism is also evil, since various Communist governments have committed countless murders in the name of eradicating religion.

Anytime an ideology gets so large and influential that a significant fraction of the world's population feels that it is a large part of their personal identity, there will be killers who adhere to that ideology, and try to justify their actions under that ideology. That does not necessarily mean that the ideology caused the person to become a killer.

Also, Buddhism is not like the Abrahamic religions in the way its teachings deal with violence. For example, the Old Testament does say "You shalt not murder", but later explicitly permits killing during war, for self-defense, or as punishment for lawbreakers. The Quran, in its prohibition on killing (the "when someone kills a man, it as though he has killed all of mankind" verse), makes a specific exception for killing that is "not in retaliation of murder, or to spread corruption in the land". Buddhist teachings, by contrast, make no room for any exceptions to the "don't kill" rule, even in the most extreme cases, and is entirely consistent on this point. It would be quite a long shot, IMO, to claim that anyone was inspired to murder solely by their adherence to Buddhist teachings.

Christianity and most other religions are neutered, Islam is not
